Safety Basics

We're all about safety. Know it better, train it better.

Accessory Guard (off by default)

When the machine enters standby mode, training attachments (such as handles or a bar) may drop quickly under gravity, creating a potential safety hazard. When enabled, Accessory Guard helps prevent this—but please note it will increase power consumption.

Child Protection (off by default)

Child Protection Mode can be toggled on in safety settings to prevent unauthorized use.

Slip Detection (on by default)

When training with over 30 lbs, if you accidentally loosen the handle or accessories, VOLTRA I proactively slows down cable speed. This prevents the cable from snapping back if you lose your grip on a heavy set. Leave this on unless you have a specific reason to disable it.

Assist mode (on by default)

When VOLTRA I detects that you're struggling to complete a rep, it automatically reduces resistance to help you finish safely. Watch this video to learn more.

Think of it as a built-in spotter. Choose a duration for when you want the assist to kick in. Shorter durations (1-2s) provide quicker intervention; longer durations (4-5s) allow more time for grinding through a rep before assistance kicks in.

Safety Check

Safety first! The optional Direct Load Safety Check ensures your added weight is securely loaded when the cable extends, so you can focus on your workout with peace of mind.

Cable health

A quick check keeps your training safe.

How to check:

  1. Go to Settings → Safety → Cable Health

  2. Compare your cable with the 50% reference image

  3. If similar to or worse than 50%: stop using it

*Note: The Cable Health percentage is for reference only. Please rely on the actual condition of the cable and compare it against the 50% reference images.
