The Adaptive Rack Mount is a fast, tool-free way to mount VOLTRA I through your rack holes. It’s ideal when you want quick on and off setup and consistent positioning, without the extra hardware of a fixed mount or the moving parts of a sliding system.
Best for
Home gyms that want quick mounting through rack holes
Coaches setting up repeatable stations
Clinicians who want consistent positioning without spending time clamping hardware
Setup
Before you start: set the Adjustable Pin
This mount uses an Adjustable Pin as a locating point, and a Thread plus Locknut as the clamp. So, before installing:
Check your rack hole size. If it’s 5/8 in, swap to the correct pin size first.
Set the pin position. The Adjustable Pin can move up or down so it lines up with the rack hole you want to use.
1) Mount it to the rack
Insert the Adjustable Pin into your chosen rack hole.
Insert the Thread through the rack hole above.
Open the Locknut using the triggers. Press one trigger while pulling up the trigger on the other side to open the locknut.
Secure the Thread with the Locknut, then twist the Locknut tightly to fully clamp the mount.
2) Mount VOLTRA I
Attach VOLTRA I to the Dock and make sure it’s properly locked before pulling.
3) Do a quick test pull
Start light and pull smoothly. If you see any movement at the mount, stop and tighten the locknut again.
Removing the mount
Unload and remove VOLTRA I first, then:
Loosen the Locknut.
Press one trigger while pulling up the trigger on the other side to open the locknut and release the mount.
Changing height between exercises
Unload first. Bring the resistance down and return the cable to start.
Remove VOLTRA I from the Dock.
Unlock and remove the mount.
Move to the new rack holes and reinstall: pin in first, thread through second hole, open locknut with triggers, clamp, then twist tight.
Remount VOLTRA I and do a light test pull.
Safety checks
Before you go heavy:
Dock sits flush against the upright (no gap, no angle)
Adjustable Pin fits properly in its rack hole
Locknut is fully tightened
You’ve done a light test pull and nothing shifts
You’re not unlocking or moving it while the cable is loaded
Maintenance
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Periodically check the triggers, thread, locknut, and adjustable pin for wear or looseness. If anything feels off, stop and fix it before training.
