How to Use the Sliding Rack Mount

Get started with out best-selling, innovative sliding mount.

Updated today

The Sliding Rack Mount lets you mount VOLTRA I on a rack upright and change anchor height fast, without rebuilding your setup. It’s the easiest option when you’re moving between low, mid, and high pulls in the same session.

Best for

  • Home gyms with a power rack

  • Coaches setting up quick stations

  • Anyone who changes exercises and cable height a lot

Before you buy

If you haven’t bought the Sliding Rack Mount yet, make sure you choose the right version for your rack upright size. There are multiple options, so measure your rack first to get the correct fit.

Setup

1) Mount it to the rack

  1. Loosen the Tightening Knob to the loosest setting.

  2. Hold down the Safety Switch, then press the Unlock Button with your thumb and index finger to unlock the mount.

  3. Place the mount on the rack upright so it sits flush.

  4. Clip it into place to lock (don’t press the Safety Switch or Unlock Button while doing this).

  5. Confirm the Unlock Button returns to the top position. If it doesn’t, reset and clip again.

  6. Tighten the Tightening Knob fully until there’s no wobble.

2) Set your working height

  1. Pull out the Adjustable Pin.

  2. Slide the mount to the height you want.

  3. Insert the Adjustable Pin fully to lock the height.

3) Mount VOLTRA I

  1. Attach VOLTRA I to the Dock and make sure it’s properly locked before pulling.

  2. Do a quick test pull with a light weight. If anything shifts, reset the mount and tighten again before you load it up.

Changing height between exercises

  1. Unload first. Bring the resistance down and return the cable to start.

  2. Remove the Adjustable Pin, move to the new height, then reinsert the pin fully.

Fitting different racks (spacer and pin)

The Sliding Rack Mount ships set up for a specific upright size using a Spacer, and includes a 1" Adjustable Pin option for certain rack standards.

  • If the mount doesn’t sit flush, feels like it’s biting at an angle, or won’t clamp securely, you likely need a different Spacer.

  • If the height pin doesn’t match your rack holes, you may need to swap the Adjustable Pin.

Removing the mount

  1. Loosen the Tightening Knob fully.

  2. Hold the Safety Switch, then press the Unlock Button to release and remove the mount.

Safety checks

Before you go heavy:

  • Unlock Button is fully up (not half-returned).

  • Adjustable Pin is fully inserted through the hole.

  • Tightening Knob is fully tightened and the mount doesn’t rock.

Maintenance

  • Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

  • Check screws and moving parts (Safety Switch, Unlock Button, Adjustable Pin) for wear or looseness and tighten if needed.
