Why the Base Plate?
Compared to the standard DIY Dock, the Base Plate is easier to install and perfect for DIY beginners—no need to worry about designing a mount.
Key Advantages:
For Flat Surfaces: Ideal for wood studs, plywood, or concrete walls.
Force Dispersion: Wide plate spreads force, reducing stress on any single point.
Multi-Angle Stability: 4-bolt layout minimizes movement for safer lateral and rotational exercises.
Pre-Installation: Surface & Tool Check
Important: VOLTRA I generates high resistance—your anchor must be strong.
Surface Requirements:
Wood: High-quality plywood or timber, ≥ 1-5/8 in (40 mm) thick
Concrete: Solid, load-bearing wall, ≥ 4 in (100 mm) thick
Tools You'll Need:
Wood: 1/4" (6 mm) drill bit, electric drill, hex bit
Concrete: 3/8" (10 mm) masonry bit, hammer drill, ratchet wrench, anchoring adhesive
Hardware: Use the included M8 high-strength fasteners
Installation Walkthrough
Set Your Height: Choose high-pull (lat pulldowns), mid-pull (rows), or low-pull (deadlifts). Multiple docks can be installed at different heights.
Mark the Holes: Use the Base Plate as a template; mark all 4 corners.
Pre-Drill: Drill pilot holes to protect the surface and ensure proper anchor fit.
Secure the Plate: Tighten screws until flush—no wiggle or gaps.
Mount VOLTRA I: Slide the unit onto the dock until you hear a distinct “click” and see the locking mechanism engage.
