The Fixed Bar Mount is the set-and-forget option for mounting VOLTRA I to a round bar. Once it’s installed, you’ve got a stable anchor point for consistent training.
Best for
Home gyms with a dedicated pull-up bar, crossmember, or fixed round tube
Anyone who wants a permanent overhead or crossbar anchor point
Setups where stability matters more than quick repositioning
Before you start
Check these two things first:
Your bar is solid and securely fixed. If it can rotate, flex, or shift, don’t mount to it.
Your bar diameter is within the supported range (1–2 in).
Setup
1) Choose the right spacers
The Fixed Bar Mount comes with two sets of spacers (1–1.5 in and 1.5–2 in) to fit different bar diameters. Use the spacer set that matches your bar so the mount clamps evenly and sits flush.
2) Position the mount
Place the mount on the bar where you want your anchor point. Make sure it’s square and not sitting at an angle.
3) Install and tighten the screws (two-round method)
Insert the screws, then tighten in two separate rounds to keep pressure even.
Round 1: pre-tighten
Tighten in this order: 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 to about one-third of the final tightness.
Round 2: final tighten
Tighten in this order: 4 → 3 → 2 → 1 to full tightness.
This matters. If you fully tighten one screw first, you’re more likely to end up with uneven clamping.
4) Mount VOLTRA I and do a quick test pull
Attach VOLTRA I to the dock and make sure it’s properly locked. Start light and pull smoothly to confirm nothing rotates or shifts. If anything moves, stop and re-tighten before you go heavier.
Removing or repositioning the mount
Unload the cable and remove VOLTRA I.
Loosen the screws gradually in a cross-pattern until the mount releases.
Remove the mount from the bar.
If you’re repositioning, place it at the new spot and re-tighten using the two-round method.
Remount VOLTRA I and do a light test pull before going heavier.
Safety checks
Before you go heavy:
Screws are fully tightened and the mount doesn’t rotate or slide
The mount sits flush on the bar with even clamping pressure
The bar is stable and can’t shift under load
Your line of pull is clear and the cable isn’t rubbing on sharp edges
You’re not adjusting the mount while the cable is loaded
Safety zone guideline:
Keep at least 2.1 m clear on both sides of the mount.
In front of the mount, allow the length of VOLTRA’s cable plus the space you need to exercise, then add 0.5 m as a buffer.
Make sure no one and nothing is inside that zone before you start.
Maintenance
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Periodically check screw tightness and inspect the mount for wear or damage.
This mount is for indoor use. Don’t leave it outdoors or expose it to heavy moisture, high humidity, or water jets.
