How to Use the Travel Platform

The gives VOLTRA I a stable low anchor point without needing a rack or external anchor. Set it on the floor, mount VOLTRA I, then stand on it to counterbalance the pull. It's ideal for travel, small spaces, and quick "set it down and train" sessions.

Specs

Dimensions (L × W × H): 27.6 × 15.4 × 0.87 in (700 × 390 × 22 mm) It's designed to fit in a 28-inch check-in bag, which makes it a realistic option for travel.

Weight: 13.6 lbs (6.2 kg)

Setup

Place it on a flat, stable surface. Pick a spot where it won't rock. If you're on tile, hardwood, or anything slick, put a training mat underneath for grip (and to protect the floor).

Mount VOLTRA I to the platform. Align VOLTRA I with the silver mounting circle and attach it firmly. Before you pull the cable, make sure it's sitting flush and properly locked in.

Stand on the platform before you load it. Put both feet fully on the standing areas and keep your stance centred, not on the edge.

Do a quick test pull. Start light and pull smoothly. If the platform creeps or pivots, reset your stance, check the floor (and add a mat if needed), then try again.

How to train with the Travel Platform

The Travel Platform is best for movements that need a low start position, or anything you'd normally do by standing on a band.

Great fits include:

Deadlift-style pulls and hinge patterns

Curls and upright rows

Low rows and other low-start pulls

Squat patterns where a low line of pull makes sense

If you're trying a taller movement and you're running out of cable travel, adjust the setup instead of forcing range. Step closer, shorten the movement, kneel, or sit so you're not chasing height at the top.

Top attachments to pair with the Travel Platform

Basic Handle

Your everyday choice for single-arm work. Clip it in for curls, single-arm rows, presses, lateral raises, rear delts, and anti-rotation work.

CarbonFlex Bar with Premium Grip

Your go-to for two-handed pulling and full-body patterns from a low anchor. Use it for low rows, deadlift-style pulls, low-to-high pulls, and straight-arm pullovers (step back or kneel to keep the line of pull smooth).

Functional Rope

The variety booster for a low anchor. It's great for curls, triceps extensions, face pulls (kneeling or seated so the line of pull matches the movement), and cable crunches.

Squat Harness

Your best option for loading lower-body work without grip being the limiting factor. Use it for squat and hinge patterns. It weighs 6 lbs, so if you're trying to keep luggage weight down, it's the easiest one of these to leave behind.

Safety notes

VOLTRA I can generate serious resistance, so your platform setup needs to be stable before you work hard.

Always stand on the platform during use. If you're not standing on it, you're removing the counterbalance that keeps it planted.

Start light in new environments. Floors vary, and "looks fine" isn't a setup method. Test first, then build.

Stay stable and out of the line of pull. If anything shifts, you shouldn't be pulled off balance or into the device.

Travel Suitcase (recommended for travel setups)

If you're travelling with VOLTRA I and accessories, the is the simplest way to protect your kit and keep everything together. It's a hard case with wheels and an extendable handle, and it's available with three different internal layouts so you can match it to your setup. Note: the Travel Platform packs separately—it won't fit inside the suitcase.

Pack smart:

Retract the cable fully before packing.

Keep heavy items from pressing into the device or screen.

Keep small attachments together so nothing rattles loose in transit.

For reference, the Travel Suitcase external dimensions are 22.3 × 13.9 × 9.0 in (566 × 353 × 229 mm).
